Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart Headline 15th Annual Standup for New York City Heroes

New York City (WABC)-Stand Up for Heroes returns to New York City for its 15th annual celebration of wishing, healing and laughing nights for affected veterans and their families.

Virtualized in 2020 for the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will take place live on November 8th at 8 pm at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts to raise awareness and funding for Bob Woodruff. The Foundation’s mission is to find, fund, shape and accelerate equitable solutions that support the prosperity of veterans and the military community.

Stand Up for Heroes features performances by comedians and musicians such as Nate Bargaze, Jim Gaustad, Grace Gaustad, Nikki Glaser, Shin Harlem, Donnel Rawlings, Bruce Springsteen and Jon Stewart.

The event also highlights inspiring moments, memorable surprises, and resilience stories, commending men and women who have served in our country’s armed forces.

“Our military community is making great sacrifices for fellow citizens,” said Bob Woodruff, a correspondent for ABC News and co-founder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation. “They have earned our lasting respect and, more importantly, our support.
