Lab-grown meat was more likely to land on America’s dinner plates last fall when the Food and Drug Administration first declared poultry farmingGrown by Upside Foods and safe to eat.
“It’s time to eat cultured meat,” Eric Schultz, Upside’s vice president of global scientific and regulatory affairs, said on Twitter as the company toasted the milestone with a champagne emoji. “Our Upside Chicken will soon be available to consumers.”
