At least three injured in turbulence on United Airlines flight from Newark Liberty Airport to Tampa International Airport

Newark, NJ (WABC) — At least three people were injured in “unexpected turbulence” on a United Airlines flight from Newark to Tampa on Thursday night, according to United Airlines.

United Airlines Flight 600 landed at Newark Liberty International Airport at 11 p.m. Thursday.

Two passengers and a flight attendant were taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

No further details were revealed.

The FAA told ABC News it had no reports of the incident.
