At least eight people injured in four shootings in New York City

New York -NYPD states that at least eight people were injured in four shootings within two hours of Sunday night.

The first event happened in eastern New York shortly after 6:30 pm. According to police, a 74-year-old woman was shot in the stomach while sitting in the courtyard of the Pink House. She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.

Then, at around 8:10 pm, a teenager and three men were shot dead in Brownsville after a debate broke out. Police say the teenager was shot in the head and was finally reported to be in danger. Other victims are expected to survive.

The other two shootings happened at Bronx Within 5 minutes of each other.

At around 8:45 pm, police said a 13-year-old girl at a convenience store on South Boulevard was shot in her hand and her mother was grazed by ammunition. Two men on bicycles fired outside the store, police said. ..

Around 8:50 pm, a 22-year-old woman was shot in the leg while walking her dog near Bristow and Jennings. She told police she saw a white car passing by when the shooting happened.

No arrests have been made for any of the shootings.
