Conor McGregor joined in sparring with Dillon Danis as his UFC return was in jeopardy due to a drug test deadline.
The Irishman posted a series of photos during a session in New York with McGregor’s famed jiu-jitsu training partner, Danis.
He said, “I had some good sparring with @dillondanis on Church Street today.
“New York’s Underground Kings, tell Eddie. You think you know, but you don’t know anything. Move on!”
McGregor, 34, has been sidelined since July 2021 when he broke his leg in the season opener against Dustin Poirier, also 34.
And during that recovery period, he did not participate in the US Anti-Doping Agency’s annual testing pool.


The former two-division champion has yet to be added to USADA’s online database, though six months of testing must be completed before he can return.
The final UFC pay-per-view of the year is scheduled for December 16th.So McGregor would have had to register by June 16th.
Potential opponent Michael Chandler, 37, vented his frustration when USADA visited him while facing a KO in a superfight.
He said: “Well guys, you’ve all seen the news: Conor is not with USADA.

“179 days until December 16th, the last pay-per-view of the year.
“And funny enough, USADA showed up on my doorstep today to add even more insult to injury. Where are you?”

McGregor previously insisted on date for fight with Chandler We’ll find out during the season.
