“The Donald Trump Party is not a Conservative party, it is a populist, nationalist, right-wing party with which I have as much in common as Bernie Sanders,” she said.
“Politics is cyclical. The Donald Trump moment that has engulfed us all for so long will eventually come to an end,” she predicted.
Griffin said he hoped to see a Republican party emerge that would support more policies such as free trade, globalization and “legal immigration,” and said he might vote Democrats if things didn’t go his way.
“I take it on a case-by-case basis,” she said. “I had to look at their policy. That’s where I am.”
