Alex Nederkovich made 35 saves on Wednesday to lead the Detroit Red Wings to St. Louis Bruce 4-2 Home Win.
Lucas Raymond, Dylan Larkin, Adam Erne and Robby Fabbri scored Red Wings (9-9-3) and lost four games in a row.
Pavel Buchnevich and David Perron scored in St. Louis (10-7-2).
Bruce got on the board first, leaving 9:49 in the first period with a goal from Buchnevic.
As Bruce was in power play, Jordan Kirow sent a pass to Buchnevic from behind the net, who shot a shot from the slot that beat Nederikovic to the gloveside, making St. Louis 1-0.
The lead didn’t last long as Detroit drew at Raymond’s goal at 3:37 and the first period remained at 6:12.
Tyler Bertuzzi sent a pass near Center Ice to the St. Louis Zone and sent Raymond to Raymond. Raymond streaked alone to St. Louis goalkeeper Wilhusso (19 saves), hit him between his legs and drew 1-1.
The score remained the same until 12:15 remained in the second period, when Larkin gave Red Wings a 2-1 lead.
Larkin failed to clear Bruce’s defense, Marco Scandella’s backhand, and fired a puck over Fusso from close range.
Detroit took the lead in the third period, even though he scored only three shots in the second period.
Early in the third period, St. Louis drew the match 2-2 with Peron’s goal.
With 18:49 remaining in the game, Peron defeated Nederikovic at a bad angle next to the goal.
Detroit responded by scoring a goal at 15:22 for Erne to take the lead 3-2. Erne shot through the screen from the top of the confrontation circle and into the net.
Fabbri scored an empty net goal to give Detroit a 4-2 lead and the score remained the same until 1:15 left.
