ABC7 Unite: STooPS program returns to Brooklyn this weekend

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, Brooklyn (WABC)-Famous STooPS BedStuy The program will be back on Saturday in Brooklyn.

The program focuses on local performers and visual artists in the afternoons of dance, music, spoken language, theater, visual arts, conversation and workshops.

There is a block party atmosphere where people can embrace it all at their own pace.

Neighbors and artists can also interact with others in the community.

“Most of our artists are based in Bed-Stuy, so many artists travel to Manhattan to showcase their work, giving them a way to interact with their neighbors in ways they wouldn’t normally be able to do.” Founder Kendra said. Ross said.

Organizers want to help foster a more welcoming and supportive community when their neighbors are no longer strangers.

Participants can begin crawls at Hancock T & T Community Gardens on 398 Hancock Street or 322-324 Hancock Street from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Events will also be livestreamed on Zoom and Instagram.
