“The victim got sick, but thankfully didn’t die,” Katz said in a news release.

Tinevra allegedly spiked her husband’s coffee a couple of times.

According to prosecutors, she was arraigned for attempted assault, reckless danger, and possession of weapons.

An innocent petition was submitted on her behalf.

The detective recovered a bottle with a red hat from his home on January 14.
Authorities said the label contained boric acid and indicated that it was used to kill insects.

Tinevra will return to court on March 10.

It wasn’t clear on Saturday whether she had a lawyer who could speak for her.

If convicted, she can face up to four years in prison.
