A paintball attack near Wayne’s Willowbrook Mall leaves serious eye damage to teens

WABC, NJ-Police are investigating a paintball attack near a shopping mall in New Jersey.

The incident took place near Willowbrook Mall in Wayne on Sunday, November 8th, at about 5:45 pm, according to Wayne police officials.

They say four male teenagers were walking on the sidewalk near the mall’s food court when passing silver or gray sedan passengers fired multiple short-range shots from a group of paintball guns. I will.

One of the shots struck a 15-year-old child just below his eyes, causing serious injuries.

The victim needed medical treatment at the hospital.

According to police, the car slowed down after the shooting. However, video surveillance caught the vehicle near the food court before the incident.

Witnesses describe the car occupants as follows: Men with short black curly hair, tall men with curly hair, and women of average height with straight hair.

The male suspect in the surveillance photo entered Forever 21 and the adidas store in the mall before the incident.

Wayne police are asking anyone who has information about the assault, or who is aware of the suspect in surveillance photos, to contact the Wayne Police Detective Agency (973-633-3530).
