New York (CBSNewYork) — Police say the necklace was severely robbed while a man was buying ice cream for his five-year-old son.
It occurred near East Burnside Avenue and Walton Avenue in Bronx around 3:30 pm on June 6.
Police said the 35-year-old victim was standing with his son when the two suspects rode a motorcycle. They are said to have grabbed the victim with his gold chain and dragged him onto the sidewalk.
Police said they ran east on Eastburnside Avenue after stealing his necklace.
Victims were treated on-site for abrasions and bruises on their arms, legs and neck. His son was not injured.
