A 35-year-old suspect in custody after breaking into Flushing, a Queens apartment, and stabbing and killing a man

Flushing in Queens (WABC)-A man was stabbed to death by a suspect who had invaded an apartment on the second floor of Queens.

The incident occurred after 2 am on the 57th Road of Flushing.

According to police, a 35-year-old suspect broke into an apartment on the second floor from a balcony.

The couple inside was awakened by an intruder who stabbed a 35-year-old man many times.

He was sentenced to death by police.

After that, the victim’s wife ran out of the apartment for help.

The police officer who responded saw the suspect down the balcony of the apartment.

The suspect also tried to climb the balcony to enter the apartment on the third floor, but could not move in.
Police used a taser on the man and detained him.

They say he may have been under the influence of drugs.

Prosecution against the suspect is pending.
