A 14-year-old cancer survivor gives gift bags to children on vacation in the hospital

New York — Young cancer survivors give back to cancer patients.
Elana Koenig and a team of volunteers helped pack gift bags for children on vacation at a cancer-fighting hospital on Sunday. Sister of Two years ago I founded the Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation to help others overcome..
“We want to help those who reach out to us. We have visited Memorial Sloan many times. We have visited many children there. We host parties and events and are struggling with being hospitalized,” Koenig said.
All gifts will be delivered to pediatric patients at local hospitals this week.
