More than 30 people were arrested in protest in Washington, DC over the weekend.
According to officials, the arrest resulted from a clash with police and an incident between Trump’s supporters and opposition to the capital.
The Metropolitan Police Department said 33 people had been arrested, ranging from assaults on police officers to general assaults, possession of illegal weapons, and resistance to arrests.
WTTG-TV reported that eight police officers were injured in an attempt to calm anxiety.
According to police, four people suffered non-life-threatening stabs in a single showdown.
Philip Johnson, 29, from Northwest DC, was arrested in the case and charged with assault with dangerous weapons.
The Knife Battle captured in the video shows a black man beaten up surrounded by a crowd of Proud Boys, a right-wing group in favor of Trump.
The group chased a man (known as Johnson) who pulled out a blade to dodge the crowd. Another video shows a man with a stomach stab.
According to WTTG, 33 arrests have been the highest in Washington, DC since 21 were arrested at a MAGA rally last month.
Saturday’s march took thousands of Trump supporters to DC, upholding the president’s allegations that there was widespread fraud in the election day defeat to former Vice President Joe Biden.
